Cardi B and Offset have been one of the most talked-about power couples of 2018, but it seems they’re no longer an item. The “Bodak Yellow” singer just announced they called it quits, but their split was completely amicable.
Two stars met after collaborating on the song “Lick” at the beginning of 2017 and started dating shortly after its release. The Migos rapper proposed to Cardi a few months later, and they welcomed their baby girl Kulture in July.
The couple tied the knot in September 2017 and kept it as a secret for about a year. News of their private ceremony took the world by storm, but divorce is now on the cards.
Cardi B posted a video on her Instagram announcing they’re no longer together. The Grammy-nominated singer explained she’ll always love him because he’s the father of her daughter, but they just weren’t meant to be.
“We’ve got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out for us for a long time. It’s nobody’s fault. I just guess we grew out of love. But we’re not together anymore,” said Cardi B, and added they’re still really good friends and really good business partners.
