Cardi B broke many chart records in the last few years, and she’s coming for another one. The Grammy-winning artist became the first female rapper to ever top the Billboard Hot 100 with multiple solo songs thanks to the success of her recent single “Up”.

“Up” was released on February 5th, but it originally debuted at no. 2 after Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License” stopped it from reaching the top spot. That changed after Cardi B’s Grammy performance, which also featured a live rendition of “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion.

This medley quickly became a viral sensation and helped Cardi B reach the top spot, becoming her fifth single to top the Billboard Hot 100. By doing so, “Up” managed to extend her record for the most Hot 100 no. 1s among female rappers.

To make the whole thing even better, this isn’t the only record Cardi B set. She’s currently the only female rap star with two solo no. 1 singles, including “Bodak Yellow” and “Up”. She also topped the Billboard Hot 100 with “I Like It” featuring Bad Bunny and J Balvin, the Maroon 5 collaboration “Girls Like You”, and “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion.
