It’s been over a year since Cardi B conquered the world with her debut album Invasion of Privacy, but she’s still scooping awards thanks to its enormous success. Now the famous rapper has topped the list of winners at this year’s BET Awards.
Cardi B managed to beat strong competitors including Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Ella Mai and The Carters to collect the biggest award of the night – Album of the Year. She also came out victorious in Best Female Hip Hop artist category.
The list of major winners also include Childish Gambino, who collected the Video of the Year award for his trailblazing single “This Is America,” and Travis Scott and Drake who won best collaboration award for “Sicko Mode.”
