La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony have separated after seven years of marriage, according to TMZ. They have a 10-year-old son together, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony.
The 37-year-old TV star reportedly moved out of their family home last week and is living alone in New York City. Their separation, however, is cordial and has not talked about divorce, TMZ reports.
The site also says that the couple came under some pressure during the NBA season and amid reports that Carmelo will be traded from the New York Knicks.
The couple was spotted together on Jan. 12, 2017 with Gabrielle Union at Cipriani in NYC. Then, La La shared a photo with her two boys cuddling up on Valentine’s Day and a snap of them getting “snowed in” on March 14.
The pair recently attended their son’s basketball game together last weekend, according to TMZ.
Carmelo and La La tied the knot in July 2010 after five years of engagement and welcomed their son in March 2007.
The NBA star couldn’t help but gush when asked about his wife being the One.
“She doesn’t look at me as an athlete at all,” he said to Wall Street Journal in 2013. “She’s always been the person I can bring something to—that’s a no-brainer.”
