Bob and Abishola charmed the CBS viewers with their amazing love story, but all good things must come to an end. Bob Abishola has been canceled after five seasons, and it will return to CBS for its final season just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The fifth and final season of Bob Abishola will premiere on CBS on February 12, 2024. It will feature a total of 13 episodes, and the series finale is set to air on May 13, 2024.

Bob ❤ Abishola chronicled the blooming romance between its titular characters—the sock company owner Bob Wheeler and the Nigerian nurse Abishola Adebambo, who took care of him after he ended up in a hospital with a mild heart attack, caused by the stress of running his family business.

Billy Gardell and Folake Olowofoyeku led the series as Bob and Abishola, and they had great support from their co-stars Christine Ebersole, Matt Jones, Maribeth Monroe, Shola Adewusi, Barry Shabaka Henley, Vernee Watson, and Anthony Okungbowa.

Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment, said they’re proud of what Bob Abishola accomplished over the course of its five seasons, and thanked its creators for helping establish a new generation of programming at CBS.

“This series expertly showcased a family love story and workplace comedy about the immigrant experience with heartfelt humor and emotion… We plan to celebrate it this spring and give fans the most amazing episodes to remember it by,” said Reisenbach in a statement.
