You now have chance to own an all black Golden Globes Hollywood’s A-listers’ ensemble.
After being encouraged to wear black at the 2018 Golden Globes Ceremony to express support and solidarity for victims of sexual harassment and misconduct, the women and men of Hollywood are now auctioning off their ensembles to benefit the “Time’s Up” movement. Among those who donated their dresses are Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis, Elisabeth moss and more.
The proceeds from the auctions will go to “Time’s Up” Legal Defense Fund, which was set to help those who face sexual harassment connect with legal representation as well as receive public relations assistance.
Condé Nest partnered with “Time’s Up” and eBay to auction off a handful of the celebrities’ all-black ensembles from75th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
Anna Wintour, Artistic Director of Condé Nast and Editor-in-Chief of Vogue said in a statement: “At Condé Nast, we’ve always believed in the importance of swift action to support meaningful social change. Through this auction powered by eBay, and harnessing the compelling pull of both fashion and activism, we’re hopeful that the black dresses worn at this year’s historic Golden Globe Awards will raise funds for the Time’s Up initiative, and serve to support the stories and voices of those who have been victims of sexual misconduct.”
