Wedding season is taking full steam in Hollywood, and Chance the Rapper is the latest celebrity to become a married man. He tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Kirsten Corley, shortly after sharing a touching story about their first encounter.

The Hip-hop star joked he immediately knew he’s going to marry her, and that’s exactly what happened 16 years later. Chance the Rapper moved his fans to tears with this tweet, but it wasn’t the first time he sang praises to his new wife.
“You are my oldest and best friend. You are responsible for everyone of the most wonderful things in my life. I’m forever grateful that God made me find you, and even more grateful that you made me find God,” he wrote just in time for Corley’s birthday last year.
The couple’s lavish wedding took place at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California and many of his celebrity friends attended the ceremony. Kanye West, Dave Chappelle, and Kirk Franklin were among those who couldn’t say no to the invitation.
