Cher is celebrating her 75th birthday with exciting news—she’s working on a biopic of her life with Universal Pictures.

Cher couldn’t wait to share the news on Twitter, “Ok Universal is Doing Biopic With My Friends JUDY CRAYMER,GARY GOETZMAN PRODUCING. THEYY PRODUCED BOTH MAMMA MIA’S,& MY DEAR DEAR Friend 4 YRS, & OSCAR WINNER..ERIC ROTH IS GOING 2 WRITE IT.”

As the announcement says, Cher is working on the project with Mama Mia producers Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman, and Eric Roth is penning the script. Additionally, Cher will serve as a producer.

Cher has worked with all of them before. She worked with Craymer and Goetzman on 2018’s Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and with Roth on 1997’s Suspect.

Cher’s been a mainstay in music, film, television, and theater during her six-decade-long career. She’s just short of a Tony to have EGOT status as she’s won an Emmy for Outstanding Variety Music Special, a Grammy for Best Dance Recording, and an Oscar for Best Actress in Moonstruck.
