Cher Plots Her First North American Tour in 5 Years

Want to see Cher rocking the stage once again? Well, you are in luck, since the Goddess of Pop just announced her first North America tour in five years. Here We Go Again tour will kick off in 2019 and serves as a support for Cher’s album of ABBA covers titled Dancing Queen. The album will be officially released on September 28, 2018.

The 72-year-old announced the tour during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show while performing ABBA’s hit song S.O.S. You can check her performance below.

Here We Go Again Tour will see Cher performing both songs from Dancing Queen and her biggest hits. The tour will include 30 shows in the United States and Canada, kicking off on January 17th, 2019 with a gig in Fort Myers, Florida. It will wrap up in May, with a final show in St. Paul, Minnesota. The tickets for all the shows on the tour will become available for purchase on September 13.

Cher’s last tour across North America was 2014’s Dressed to Kill Tour, which was launched in support of her 25th studio album Closer to the Truth. In the meantime, the legendary singer was occupied with her concert residency Classic Cher which she performs in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The last show of the residency is set for November 17, 2018, in Las Vegas’ Park Theater.
