Chris Hemsworth and Tiffany Haddish seem like a match made in heaven, and we’ll soon get to see them alongside each other in a buddy-cop comedy Down Under Cover.
This exciting project has been compared to Rush Hour and The Heat, and the script will be written by relative newcomer Peter Hoare.
Down Under Cover centers on a detective, played by Hemsworth, who goes undercover to solve a series of mysterious casino heists. He’s forced to work with a lone wolf detective, played by Haddish, who always has to have her way and has a hard time co-operating with others.
This film has been recently presented to buyers at the Cannes Film Festival, and we’re yet to see which studio will take the bait. Hemsworth and Haddish both have a pretty great track record, and a perfect comedic timing, and we’re pretty sure it will be exciting to see them working side by side.
