It’s confirmed! Coldplay is releasing a double album before the year closes!
After what felt like a campaign of cryptic messages, the band finally confirmed that Monday morning that it’ll release a new double album called Everyday Life on November 22.
Postcards sent to fans confirmed that new music is on the way.
“dear friends, my typing isn’t very good, i’m sorry
i and we hope wherever you are you’re ok
for the last 100 years or thereabouts we have been working on a thing called Everyday Life
in the classifieds you might write “double album for sale, one very careful owner”
one half is called “sunrise,” the other “sunset”
it comes out 22 November.

Everyday Life will be the band’s eighth album, following 2015’s A Head Full of Dreams.
