Patrick Wilson And Vera Farmiga Returning to “The Conjuring” Universe

The hit horror movie The Conjuring spawned several sequels and spin-offs over the years. The stars of the original movie, Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, only appeared in two of them, but that’s about to change. The acclaimed actors will make a comeback in the upcoming Annabelle project.

The Conjuring saw Wilson and Farmiga playing paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, and they agreed to reprise these roles for the second movie. A lot has happened since in this universe, but these two actors were nowhere to be found.

In the years to come, The Conjuring universe grew and its prequel Annabelle proved to be just as successful. This horror was based on a story of a creepy doll, mentioned by the Warrens in the first movie. Despite this connection, Wilson and Farmiga didn’t make an appearance in any of the Annabelle films – until now.

The upcoming threequel will focus on the doll after she was stored in the glass box at The Warrens’ Occult Museum. The couple’s ten-year-old daughter Judy will become Annabelle’s next victim in this untitled horror movie, set to premiere on July 3, 2019.
