Between all the modeling gigs, Chrissy Teigen also dedicates a lot of her time to cooking. Teigen already has a New York Times bestseller cookbook in 2016’s Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat and is already preparing a follow-up. But that isn’t all since the 32-year-old is now going all-in on cooking by launching her own kitchen line in collaboration with Target.
Chrissy Teigen, who had one of her first modeling jobs with Target, will introduce the Chrissy x Target line on September 30, 2018. It will consist out of 40 products including cast iron Dutch oven, glassware, cutlery, pitchers and a cookware set consisting out of 12 pieces. Reportedly, the items will have a price range from $4 to $140.
“I’ve never been so nervous excited in my life,” tweeted Teigen off her Target Kitchen Line. “I cannot believe I can finally say this is happening!!! Thank you for welcoming me and my entire family.”
“We have a great relationship with Chrissy,” said Mark Tritton, executive VP of Target, in a statement. “When we learned she was launching her own kitchen and tabletop line, we both knew it would be right at home at Target.”
“I’ve always wanted people to love what they’ve cooked from my books. Creating a collection was a natural extension of my passion for food, and I am so excited for everyone to be proud of and truly love their kitchen and tools,” Teigen added during a recent Q&A about the Chrissy x Target.
Chrissy Teigen started her modeling career in 2004 and went on to be featured in campaigns for numerous high-profile brands including Gillette, UGG, Nike, and Billabong. She also made a shift to entertainment, working on several MTV’s shows as a host and contributor. Her most recent gigs include being on the lifestyle talk show FABLife and co-hosting Lip Sync Battle on Paramount Network.
