Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane Stapleton announced on Monday that they are expecting twins. Morgane shared a heartwarming Instagram post to celebrate their 10-year anniversary.
“14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round,” the mother-to-be captioned a black and white photo of the couple.
Chris also revealed the wonderful news during hi s Dallas concert at Starplex Pavilion, when his wife joined him onstage to sing a tune, according to The Dallas Observer.
“She’s the mother of my two kids, and she’s about to be the mother of two more,” he reportedly announced before serenading Morgane.
The couple tied the knot in 2007 and Morgane’s vocals are featured on his 2015 album, Traveller. She teased their working relationship in a joint interview with Rolling Stone, saying, “Chris is a master, and I say this with all due respect, at messing things up.”
“He can take something so recognizable and turn it into something totally different where it’s almost unrecognizable, in the best way possible,” she added.
People reports that Morgane appeared to show a small baby bump when she and Chris attended the 2017 CMT Artists of the Year Awards earlier this month at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center, where Chris was honored alongside Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard, Keith Urban and Brian Kelley.
