The family of country star Jake Owen and his girlfriend Erica Harlein is about to get bigger since the couple is expecting their first child together. Owen, who already has a six-year-old daughter Olive, delivered the exciting news during the ABC’s special I’m Coming Home.
“This’ll throw you guys for a loop,” – Owen told his family during the special, which saw “Beachin'” singer visiting his hometown of Vero Beach. “Erica and I will be having a little addition to our Owen family.”
“Now I’m gonna turn really red!” – added Hartlein.
Jake Owen’s mom and dad couldn’t be more thrilled to hear the news.
“I hope it’s twins!” – Owen’s mom said before his dad added: “Gotta have a little boy!”
A representative for the 37-year-old singer/songwriter confirmed the news to People magazine, adding that the baby should arrive late spring/early summer.
Before he started dating Erica Hartlein, who works in interior design, Jake Owen was married to a model Lacey Buchanan. He married Lacey back in May 2012, and the couple welcomed their daughter Olive six months later. After three years of marriage, Owen and Buchanan decided to get a divorce in August 2017.
Owen and Hartlein revealed that they are together in April 2017, but it is believed that they started dating several months before that.
