The CW has unveiled the official full (and extended!) trailer for the seventh and final season of the long-running post-apocalyptic drama series. The season will premiere May 20.
The 100 loosely based on the book series of the same name by Kass Morgan focuses on “criminal adolescents who are among the first to return to Earth after a nuclear disaster devastated much of the planet. The adolescents struggle to adjust to their new surroundings, stumbling in their efforts to form a new community. The group soon discovers that they’re not alone, quickly understanding that they must band together against survivors of the nuclear disaster who are not exactly welcoming.”
The series debuted on The CW in 2014, upon completion of the last 16-episodeseason, the series would have aired 100 episodes.
