Demi Lovato Reveals New Album Title and Release Date

After Demi Lovato said just last week in an interview, that her new album is coming, “[f]ingers crossed… sooner than you think,” the singer announced on Wednesday the release date of her upcoming album. Tell Me You Love Me, will be released September 29.

Lovato took to Instagram to share the news with her fans, uploading a black and white video of herself singing. The video is captioned, “New Album: Tell Me You Love Me coming September 29th.”

This will be the singer’s 6th studio album. Lovato’s recent interview with ET was full of scoops, one of which were that her exciting new project will not only include a full-length album, but also a tour and documentary titled Simply Complicated.

Fans have already gotten a taster of her R&B sounding album with the release of her single, “Sorry Not Sorry,” which she is set to sing this weekend at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. The singer said that this time around, her music will be more soulful and colorful, admitting that “there is one song on the new LP that she’s nervous for fans to hear.”
