Demi Moore Opened Up About Missing Her Two Front Teeth

On Monday, Jimmy Fallon, host of NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was speechless by a photo Demi Moore sent him and asked the actress to talk about it. “You sent us a photo and it’s the most insane thing I’ve ever seen,” he said. “How did this happen?”

“I sheared off my front teeth,” the 54-year-old actress confessed, as Fallon brought out a photograph of her missing a front tooth. “I’d love to say it was skateboarding or really like something cool, but I think it’s something that’s important to share, because I think it’s literally, probably after heart disease, one of the biggest killers in in America, which is stress. Stress sheared off my front tooth. But, in an effort to get ready for you, I wanted to make sure my teeth were in.”

The picture shows the Ghost star “minus one” tooh but she said she is missing “both” of her front teeth. Her daughters “love” her toothless look, Moore said. “They think it makes me look more vulnerable and more human,” she added.

Moore explained that she “knocked it out” not too long ago. “It was almost like it fell out and my warranty was up. I swear!” she exclaimed. “Thank God for modern dentistry. All of you who go out and practice modern dentistry—thank God!”

Moore then shared a Snapchat video of herself acting silly, filmed at her dentist’s office. “People have a hard time at the dentist,” she told Fallon, “and I think it can be a lot of fun.”

According to E! News, the Forsaken star previously opened up about her first missing tooth during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October 2010, taped while she was still married to Ashton Kutcher. “Thank God for modern dentistry. I had a bad bite and knocked my own front tooth out, which basically fell out into my hand, and I just thought my warranty was up. That was it. I called out and said, ‘Baby, my tooth has fallen out of my head,'” Moore recalled. At the time, Moore was clenching her teeth and was “a little too tense” in retrospect. “I was sitting at my desk and I felt something drop and I caught it and looked down, and there was my tooth.”
