The independent broadcast network has opted not to renew its police drama Deputy. The series hailed from creator Will Beall.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, during its 13-episode run, the series earned a 57 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Per the outlet, the decision to axe the show was made purely based on ratings. The series ranked as Fox’s second lowest-rated drama series this season, ahead of Almost Family, which was also canceled by Fox.
Deputy starred True Detective actor Stephen Dorff.
