Dermot Mulroney Joins the Cast of “Station 19” for Season 2

ABC’s action drama Station 19 is about to receive an exciting casting addition in Dermot Mulroney. The 54-year-old will join season two of the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff for “a multiple-episode role.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, he is set to play the father of Seattle PD cop Ryan Tanner (Alberto Frezza).

Mulroney’s character comes back to Seattle after an extended leave, surprising both his family and friends. He is described as “sharp-witted, perceptive and wickedly smart and he can charm his way into and out of almost any situation,” while not being always on “the right side of the law, which really affects him in the eyes of his son.”

Dermot Mulroney is the second new addition to the cast of Station 19 after it was revealed earlier that Boris Kodjoe (Code Black) is set to have a role on this TV series as a veteran firefighter. You will be able to see both Mulroney and Kodjoe in action when Station 19 returns to television on October 4th, 2018.

There are lots of other projects that Dermot Mulroney took on in 2018. He had guest roles on comedies Arrested Development and LA to Vegas while serving as a narrator for crime drama Kingpin. You will also have the opportunity to see Mulroney opposite to Julia Roberts in Amazon’s psychological thriller Homecoming.
