It takes more than hacking HBO to affect Game of Thrones‘ ratings. The fourth episode of hit series’ season seven drew 10.2 million viewers and officially broke the record the season premiere set a few weeks ago.
By forcefully entering in the network’s system, hackers didn’t only compromise GoT information, they have also leaked unaired episodes of Ballers and Room 104. Executive documents and scripts have been stolen, along with GoT actors’ personal info – emails, phone numbers, and home addresses. The hackers are demanding a multi-million-dollar ransom from HBO.
