Disney has released the first full trailer for its live-action Dumbo movie.
Dumbo is the latest Disney animated classic to be re-made. It joins The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, and Alice in Wonderland as well as future live-action adaptations including Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Little Mermaid.
The official trailer promises that Tim Burton’s adaptation of the 1941 film is going to be full of magic and mystique as well as heartbreak and triumph. It stars Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Eva Green, and Danny DeVito.
In the story of the eponymous flying elephant and the two children who look after him, the children’s father (Farrell) joins a failing circus, run by DeVito. After they discover the unique baby elephant can fly, the attraction makes a phenomenal comeback and draws the attention of an entrepreneur (Keaton).
