David E. Kelley teams with Brad Garrett on a new series for the forthcoming streaming service.

The Big Little Lies executive producer’s first project for Disney+ is a high school basketball series called Big Shots.

Based on an original idea from Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond, Single Parents), the series follows a temperamental college basketball coach who gets fired from his job and must take a teaching and coaching job at an elite all-girls private high school.

Set to portray the coach is John Stamos, who’s best known for his role as Uncle Jesse on Full House and Netflix’s continuation, Fuller House.

Big Shots has received a 10-episode, straight-to-series order with Bill D’Elia is set to direct the pilot.

Kelley’s credits include hit shows such as Ally McBeal, The Practice, Chicago Hope and Boston Legal.

Disney+ is set to launch November 12.
