Ewan McGregor is soon to return to his iconic Star Wars role in the upcoming Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, and he’ll be in a pretty good company. The full cast of this sci-fi show has been confirmed, and it will include the likes of Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Christensen’s return in the role of Darth Vader has been confirmed back in December. In early March, the Game of Thrones actress Indira Varma joined the series in an unspecified role, before the cast list was expanded even further, to include a couple of familiar faces.

Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse are set to return as Luke Skywalker’s Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, who first appeared in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. They took care of baby Luke after Anakin Skywalker turned to the dark side and eventually became Darth Vader.

The cast of this highly-anticipated series will also include Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. Obi-Wan Kenobi will start filming later this month, and its official release date is yet to be revealed.
