Disney has pushed back its Doctor Strange sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, to March 25, 2022. The studio, which had recently moved the sequel to November 5, 2021, has decided to shift the release date once again.

Starring as the titular character is Benedict Cumberbatch, who is expected to reprise his role. Also returning for the sequel are original pic stars Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Elizabeth Olsen.

Disney has had to do a complete reshuffle of its release calendar following theater closures and production shutdowns due to the Coronavirus.

In other Marvel news, Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth installment of the Thor series, is getting a slight improvement, moving up from February 18, 2022, to February 11, 2022.
