Drake Grants Birthday Wish To Little Girl At Chicago Hospital

Imagine blowing out your birthday candles, wishing Drake was at your party and having him appear out of nowhere. That’s exactly what happened to one little girl who invited Canadian rapper to her birthday and thought her eyes were tricking her when he actually showed up.

Sofia Sanchez is one of thousands, if not even millions of people, who took part in the viral Kiki Challenge. This internet craze became a worldwide phenomenon once everyone started incorporating a choreographed dance to Drake’s hit song In My Feelings and posting the videos online.

Sanchez is currently residing at the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, awaiting a heart transplant. She filmed her In My Feelings dance in the hospital hallway, with an IV attached to her arm and a huge smile on her face.

“I love your music and I was hoping that you could come and cheer me up for my birthday or anytime this week,” said Sanchez at the end of her video. Her short clip somehow got back to the rapper and he decided to make a quick stop at the hospital between his tour performances in Chicago.

The 11-year-old girl was head over hills after seeing Drake in her room. Sanchez was so shocked that she spent a whole minute speechless. The conversation ran smoothly after that and they’ve mostly talked about Justin Bieber and basketball.

“It’s a miracle. Because it’s one of the first wishes I got in a long time… I wanted him to come cheer me up for my birthday this weekend. This is the best birthday present I ever had,” said Sanchez.
