Drax Might Not be Returning for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. might go ahead without Dave Bautista aka Drax.

The star has recently expressed his support for James Gunn following his firing by Disney. The firing occurred after some offensive tweets emerged from the past.

Basutica was one of the cast members who showed the most support for James, defending his character and the fact that although the tweets were wrong, people change. He has described his decision to stand by the director as a “moral” one. He also admitted his loyalty being rooted in his admiration of Gunn too: “I love James. James really changed my life so it’s a personal thing too”

Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, Bautista responded to the idea of leaving the franchise for good: “It’s a bitter-sweet conversation – um, no it’s a bitter-bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn.”

He added: “They’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely. To be honest with you, I don’t know if I want to work for Disney.”

Disney has not yet announced who will be placing Gunn and the third installment of the popular series and filming has been put on hold indefinitely.
