Dua Lipa’s third studio album has been in the making for quite some time, and she’s no longer keeping us in the dark about its release. The Grammy winner officially announced her next LP Radical Optimism and shared its release date, tracklist, and album cover.

Dua Lipa first started teasing Radical Optimism last fall, when she gave us the first taste of her new sound with the lead single “Houdini”. Its release was later followed by the second single “Training Season”, which she teased with a powerful performance at the Grammys.

We now finally know that her third studio album will be called Radical Optimism. She was intrigued by this concept after a friend of hers mentioned it a few years ago and she was struck by “the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm.”

Lipa also revealed she was exploring the music history of psychedelia, trip-hop, and Britpop while working on this album, and they served as her main inspiration because she’s always been drawn to their confident optimism.

Radical Optimism will be released via Warner Records on May 3. It will feature 11 songs, including “End of an Era”, “French Exit”, “Anything for Love”, and “Happy for You”.
