Dwayne Johnson will finally bring his pro wrestling moves to the big screen.

Per Deadline, the actor will star in and produce Smashing Machine – a film about two-time UFC champ Mark Kerr. Johnson announced this on Friday at Madison Square Garden during the UFC 244 card main event – Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz.

At the announcement, the Fast and Furious star said “Mark Kerr’s story is such an incredible story. Like all of us, and like a lot of these fighters, he battled these demons — these demons of addiction, these demons of mental health, these demons of getting out and the pressure of fighting in front of 50,000 people and what that does to somebody.”

The film is in the early stages of development and there is still no studio attached to it, but we do know that Johnson and Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Production will produce it.

If you can’t wait to catch Johnson in this biopic his next big-screen role is in Jumanji: The Next Level, which will be released on December 13th.
