Elton John Announces First Autobiography

Elton John has confirmed that he will be releasing a new biography.

The yet to be titled upcoming memoir is due to be released on October 15.

The news was announced by the “Rocket Man” himself Friday. “My life has been one helluva roller coaster ride and I’m now ready to tell you my story, in my own words. My first and only official autobiography will be released October 2019,” he tweeted.

“I can’t wait for you to read because it’s the truth and so many books that have been written about me haven’t exactly been truthful,” he added.

The iconic musician is currently on his farewell tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road, and plans to retire from music once the tour finishes in 2021 after more than 300 shows.

The new memoir will arrive after the upcoming biopic about John’s life, Rocket Man, due out this May, starring Taron Egerton as the musical genius.
