The BAFTA Awards nominations will be officially announced later this month, but we already know who might be in the running at this ceremony. The British Academy has unveiled the longlist of potential nominees after the first round of voting, with Emilia Pérez and Conclave leading the way.

After topping this year’s Golden Globe nominations, Emilia Pérez could enter the BAFTA Awards as the top contender, as well. Its chances are looking pretty great after it secured 15 slots on the longlist, including best picture and acting nods for its stars Karla Sofía Gascón, Adriana Paz, Selena Gomez, and Zoe Saldaña.

The Papal mystery-thriller Conclave is right behind with 14 slots, including best film, director, and leading actor for its star Ralph Fiennes. The Substance, The Brutalist, and A Complete Unknown have all been longlisted 11 times, while Wicked and Dune: Part Two secured ten slots. All these films are still in the running for the coveted best picture nomination.

The BAFTA Award nominations will be announced by EE Rising Star winner Mia-McKenna Bruce and BAFTA winner Will Sharpe on January 15. David Tennant will return as the host of this year’s ceremony, set to take place at the Royal Festival Hall in London, England on February 16.
