Eminem Faces His Demons In Music Video for “Fall”

Eminem’s fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing when he dropped his tenth studio album Kamikaze completely unannounced. The famous rapper is not finished amazing the fans, and his latest surprise is a trippy music video for new song “Fall”.

The clip starts with Slim Shady sitting in a car looking at all the negative reviews his previous album received. Fed up with all the negativity, he tosses his phone and begins to roam the streets, but quickly realizes he’s being followed by a mysterious shadowy figure which crawled out of a stranger’s tablet.

Eminem tries to escape the Venomesque creature, only to realize there’s no way out. He ends up being cornered by the smoke monster, which possesses his body at the end of the video. The rapper finds a way to get rid of it by leaping through the window and landing on his feet.

“Fall” is obviously metaphorical, but it’s still crystal clear what Eminem tried to say with it. It’s his version of “Look What You Made Me Do”, which takes aim at everyone who dared to cross him. It disses the critics and some of his fellow rappers, and it’s the perfect reflection of Kamikaze as a whole.
