It’s confirmed! The former Desperate Housewives star is expecting!
Eva Longoria is pregnant with her first child with husband José Antonio “Pepe” Bastón, her reps confirm to PEOPLE.
The actress is pregnant with a baby boy and is currently four months along.
Longoria is married to Bastón (49) president of Televisa, the largest media company in Latin America. The two started dating in 2013. They got engaged in Dubai in December 2015 and married six months later in Mexico. The wedding was quite a lavish event with a beautifully lit altar and included a fireworks display.
Shortly after announcing their engagement, Longoria spoke to PEOPLE about the possibility of having children. While Bastón has three children from a previous marriage the then recent engagement got her thinking about having babies of her own.
“I just turned 40, so I have thought, ‘Is time running out?’” Longoria said. “I should be thinking about [children], but I feel like my life is full. I don’t feel like we are lacking because we don’t have a baby.” But the actress definitely did not rule out having kids as she said, “If there is anything else to come, it would be icing on the cake.”
