We can count on Only Murders in the Building to round out an impressive, A-list cast each season, and they’re doing it again! Eva Longoria is the latest star to join Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in the next installment of Hulu’s hit murder mystery comedy.
The past three seasons saw the main trio Charles, Oliver, and Mabel join forces to solve a series of murders in their affluent Upper West Side apartment building the Arconia. They’ll have their hands full in Season 4 since the last episode ended with the apparent murder of Charles-Haden Savage’s long-time stunt double Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch).
It’s safe to expect that Lynch will be back for Season 4, and she’ll be in pretty good company. Eva Longoria just joined the series as a mystery character, who’ll become integral to the twists and turns of the new investigation. Molly Shannon also recently joined the new season, while Meryl Streep agreed to return as Loretta Durkin.
Longoria’s schedule was pretty packed ever before she joined the next season of Only Murders. She’s fresh off making her feature directorial debut with Flamin’ Hot last year, and she’ll next appear in the Apple TV+ adaptation of Sandra Barneda’s bestselling novel Land of Women.
