Ezra Miller Hired to Co-Write Upcoming “Flash” Movie

Ezra Miller found success as an actor, and also gave music and directing a try, but he’s currently getting ready for one of his most challenging creative endeavors. Warner Bros. hired him to co-write the upcoming Flash movie, that he also stars in.

Miller will take a stab at writing the script for this highly-anticipated superhero flick alongside comic book author Grant Morrison. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor had a clash of creative visions with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who’ve been working on this project since January 2018.

Flash standalone film has been in limbo ever since because the duo reportedly wanted to take a light-hearted approach to the material, while Miller insisted they should go into a darker direction. Miller’s holding deal on Flash will expire in May, and he could walk away from this project if things don’t work out.

the young actor first portrayed this character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and went on to reprise the role in Justice League. A solo Flash movie has been in development for a while, but Miller repeatedly assured his fans that the final product is going to be worth the wait.

“It’s one of my great life dreams, and just the fact that we’re on the way – anyone who knows about Barry Allen knows he may arrive late, very late, but once he gets there, it’s all solved. We have to trust,” said Ezra Miller during an interview with Playboy.
