Famous Saxophonist Kenny G Surprises Travelers With a Mid-Flight Concert

Imagine you were in an airplane and you find yourself in the audience at the famous saxophonist’s ‘concert’! That’s exactly what happened to the passengers flying from Tampa bay to L.A. on Saturday.

As E! News reports, saxophonist Kenny G. was sitting next to an off-duty flight attendant who had lost her daughter to brain cancer. She was telling him that the flight attendants were hoping to raise $1,000 for the Delta G.O. Relay for Life in honor of her daughter and everyone battling cancer. Kenny G. made an offer she couldn’t refuse: he’d play for the travelers if they help and reach the donation goal.

It took five minutes to raise over $2,000 for the American Cancer Society, so the promised show happened.
