Fans of the Addams Family are patiently awaiting Netflix’s series Wednesday and the streaming giant just gave us a taste of things to come. Shortly after sharing the first look at Jenna Ortega as a titular character, Netflix dropped the first photo of the main cast.

Ortega is joined by Catherine Zeta-Jones as the Addams Family matriarch Morticia, Luis Guzmán as her husband Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Wednesday’s brother Pugsley. The new look of the characters draws inspiration from Charles Addams’ original cartoons that the series is based on.

The first look photos were exclusively released by Vanity Fair and co-creators Miles Millar and Alfred Gough revealed what we can expect from the Addams Family in this new series.

“Every family is weird, and this one happens to be extremely weird, but they love each other. And that’s ultimately what it’s about: They always have each other’s backs, and it’s unconditional love,” said Millar.

Wednesday will be directed and executive produced by Tim Burton, and it’s set to premiere on Netflix later this year. It will show Wednesday Addams navigating her teenage years at Nevermore Academy, as she tries to master her emerging psychic ability, put an end to a killing spree in a local down, and crack a 25-year-old supernatural mystery involving her parents.
