There’s a lot of anticipation leading up to Season 4 of The Witcher, which will mark the arrival of the new Geralt of Rivia. Liam Hemsworth will replace Henry Cavill, and the first look at Season 4 gives us a glimpse at his version of the White Wolf.

The short teaser doesn’t reveal too much about the Season 4 plot, and it serves as an introduction to Hemsworth’s version of Geralt. The short clip opens with Geralt leading his horse to water on a foggy night, but when a distant growl catches his attention, he turns around to reveal the character’s new face.

Hemsworth joined The Witcher after Henry Cavill announced his departure in 2022, and said he was over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia.

“Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I’m honored that he’s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf’s blades for the next chapter of his adventure… I may have some big boots to fill, but I’m truly excited to be stepping into The Witcher world,” said Hemsworth in a statement when he first accepted this role.

Liam Hemsworth will lead The Witcher in the upcoming Season 4 and the final Season 5, which are shooting back-to-back in the UK.
