Countless amazing trailers aired during Super Bowl LVII, but none of them created more buzz than the one for The Flash. This highly-anticipated superhero flick is finally coming to the theatres this summer, and the new teaser gave us a first glimpse of this promising project.

The Flash will see Barry Allen travel back in time and do all it takes to change the future and prevent his mother’s death. His attempt to save his family goes sideways because he ends up altering the past and finds himself stuck in the alternative universe where General Zod is still in power and superheroes are nowhere to be found.

Ezra Miller will play the titular hero in this project, returning to the role previously played in Justice League, after making brief cameos in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.

The supporting cast will include Michael Keaton and Ban Affleck as two different versions of Bruce Wayne/Batman, in addition to Michael Shannon, Sasha Calle, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, and Antje Traue.

The Flash was hit with several pandemic-related delays and post-production setbacks, especially in the face of major director changes, and it will finally hit the theaters on June 16.
