Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon made quite a splash after premiering on Netflix last week, and there’s more where that came from! The sequel Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver is coming out this spring, and the streaming giant just dropped the first teaser trailer.
The second Rebel Moon film will follow Kora and the group of warriors as they fight the Motherworld alongside the brave people of Veldt, and here’s what it has in store according to its official synopsis:
“On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.”
Sofia Boutella will return in the lead role, and Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Anthony Hopkins, Staz Nair, Fra Fee, and Cleopatra Coleman are expected to join her, as well.
Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire was released theatrically on December 15, before starting to stream on Netflix on on December 21. Its sequel Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver will hit Netflix on April 19, 2024, and it will be preceded by Zack Snyder’s R-rated extended cut of the first film.
