The sequel to Captain Marvel was a long time coming, and its first teaser exceeded our wildest expectations. Marvel just dropped a brand-new trailer for The Marvels starring Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani, and it’s truly one wild, body-swapping ride.
The Marvels will see Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Larson), Monica Rambeau (Parris), and Kamala Khan (Vellani) join forces to try and figure out how to get their powers back after realizing they’ve been mysteriously entangled with each other and forced to swap places every time they try to use their powers.
In addition to the leading all-female superhero trio, The Marvels will reunite us with a few more familiar faces. Samuel L. Jackson will return as Nick Fury, and it’s likely this film will be connected to his upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion.
Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur will reprise their roles from Ms. Marvel, while the rest of the cast includes Zawe Ashton, Park Seo-joon, and Daniel Ings.
The Marvels will hit the theaters on November 10 before heading to Disney+ next year. It will be the third film in the MCU’s Phase Five following the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
