First “The Marvels” Poster Teases a Team-Up of Epic Proportions

Phase Five of the MCU is slowly taking shape and The Marvels is one of the most exciting projects premiering this year. After a lot of anticipation, Marvel finally unveiled the first poster for this superhero flick, featuring three of their most formidable heroines.

The Marvels poster unites Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau. It shows them by each other’s side for the first time, posing in their new costumes, with a dazzling constellation of stars serving as a backdrop.

The Marvels will see Larson return to her role from the original Captain Marvel, and she’s the only lead character from this project to appear in the Marvel movies. Even the film’s logline “Higher. Further. Faster. Together.” is a clear reference to this MCU hit, which crossed a billion-dollar mark at the box office.

As for Iman Vellani, she joined the MCU as the lead in the Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel, while Teyonah Parris made her debut as Monica Rambeau in WandaVision. She was just a supporting character to Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and The Marvels will further explore her new-found superpowers.

The Marvels poster also announced the film’s latest delay, after its premiere has been pushed to November 10, 2023.
