Florida Georgia Line and Backstreet Boys Explosive Mashup At The 2017 ACM Awards

This year’s Academy of Country Music Awards brought some of the unforgettable music collaborations. But perhaps the one that grabbed the attention of country and pop music fans was the duet performance of Florida Georgia Line and Backstreet Boys.

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly took the stage to perform their big hit “God, Your Mama and Me,” together with BSB members Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, AJ McLean, Howie Dorough and Brian Littrell, before getting the crowd on their feet as they perform their 90’s hit “Everybody  (Backstreet’s Back).”

During the set, the cameras caught Carrie Underwood singing every word and Dustin Lynch dancing to the rhythm. Tim Mcgraw was also blown away by the group’s dance moves.

“They’ve got timeless hits. They’re staying creative, they’re staying busy, they’re staying fresh and they’ve got great attitudes,” Hubbard told ET after the performance. “We’ve really created a cool bond and almost mentorship at times, too… We’ve shared some success thus far, but I think the friendship more than anything means a lot to us, it really does.”

The performance comes as the Backstreet Boys continue their Las Vegas residency at the AXIS Planet Hollywood. While BSB calls Vegas their home for the coming months, Florida Georgia Line is hitting the road this summer as part of The Smooth Tour by Old Camp Whiskey.

BSB will join them on selected dates including stops at Target Field in Minneapolis, Fenway Park in Boston and Wrigley Field in Chicago.

“Can’t wait to party with y’all this summer!” Florida Georgia Line posted on Instagram.
