Gabrielle Union, Jessica Alba’s “Bad Boys” Spin-off Ordered to Series

It’s official! Bad Boys spinoff L.A.’s Finest has been ordered to series by Charter Communications. 

Charter and producers Sony Pictures Television announced Tuesday at the series has finally found a home, after it was initially developed and passed over by NBC. With a 13-episode order, the drama series catches up with Syd Burnett and Nancy McKenna, Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba’s characters respectively from Bad Boys II, more than a decade after the events of the movie. 

The series is executive produced by Jerry Bruckheimer alongside Alba and Union.

Union also took to Instagram to confirm the news writing, “The will they or won’t they is over – it’s happening people!!!!” LA’s Finest has been officially picked up by Charter Communications’… marking their first major series order for Spectrum. Cannot wait for you to watch @jessicaalba and I kick ass and take names! 13 episodes coming at ya in 2019!”
