Surprise announcement from Gigi Hadid. After previously sharing with fans that she would take part in this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the 22-year-old supermodel announced that she won’t be walking in the 2017 Show.
Hadid took to Twitter on Thursday to share the news with her fans that she won’t be making it to Shanghai, China for the show.
“I’m so bummed I won’t be able to make it to China this year,” Hadid wrote to her followers. “Love my VS family, and will be with all my girls in spirit!! Can’t wait to tune in with everyone to see the beautiful show I know it will be, and already can’t wait for next year! 🙂 x.”
Just in August Hadid took to Instagram and announced the she will be walking the VS Show in Shanghai, captioning a pic of herself from the 2016 show with, “Forever and ever and ever a dream come true to be asked back to the VS Show!!!”
Karlie Kloss, Martha Hunt as well as other models are currently on their way to Shanghai. It even appears that sister Bella Hadid will be walking in the show, as she posted on Instagram Wednesday saying that she is “so excited.”
