Hollywood Foreign Press Association made our wildest dreams come true when they announced Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg will serve as hosts of the upcoming Golden Globe ceremony.
This unlikely duo proved it’s a match made in heaven with a series of hilarious promos, and we can’t wait to see them in action on January 6!
These short clips proved HFPA president Meher Tatna wasn’t wrong when she said these two have undeniable chemistry. Despite initial doubts, we know the ceremony is in safe hands as Oh and Samberg have no trouble bouncing off each other despite having a completely different sense of humor.
One of the promos shows their miserable fail at a secret best friend handshake, while the other simply features two stars listing a bunch of random words, and trying to make them sound spectacular.
In addition to hosting, Sandra Oh will also be competing for a Golden Globe award this year thanks to her masterful performance in Killing Eve. She’s already a previous recipient of this prestigious accolade, just like Samberg.
