The ABC drama has cast Goran Višnjić as the infamous Count.
Multiple outlets confirm that the former ER and Timeless star will play the iconic vampire in ABC’s vampire drama The Brides.
A contemporary reimagining of Dracula, The Brides is a family drama with a trio of powerful female leads at its heart — Cleo (Gina Torres), Renée, and Lily (Katherine Reis). The drama is a vampire soap about empowered, immortal women and the things they do to maintain wealth, prestige, legacy — and their non-traditional family.
Višnjić’s Count Dracula who “turned” each of his three brides, is left for dead at his destroyed castle in the Carpathian mountains while his three wives — Cleo, Renée, and Lily — flee to start a new life together.
The drama pilot hails from Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros Television.
