“Grey’s Anatomy” Casts Chris Carmack as New Ortho Surgeon

Chris Carmack has just landed his first post-Nashville gig.

Carmack, or shall we say “Ortho god” has been tapped to join Grey’s Anatomy surgical team as a new orthopedic surgeon.

The news comes after Carmack wrapped up a six-season run on the country music drama, Nashville. Carmack played gay country music artist Will Lexington on the musical drama.

While not much else is known about the casting or character we can say that Carmack will join the medical drama for a recurring role on Grey’s upcoming season fifteen.

Grey’s Anatomy is ABC’s longest-running primetime scripted series. This casting news follows the exit of two beloved series’ regulars Sarah Drew who played April Kepner and Jessica Capshaw, who played Arizona Robins. It has also been confirmed that Kim Raver would be reprising her role as Dr. Teddy Altman as a series regular.

It’s a beautiful day to mend some broken bones!
