The Grey’s Anatomy spinoff is living up to the series’ tradition of strong women.
The new trailer for the upcoming crossover episode of the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff introduces the heroine of Station 19.
The doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial meet for the very first time firefighter Andy Herrera played by Jaina Lee Ortiz. The trailer shows an ambulance racing to the hospital with Herrera’s hand inside an unconscious 10-year-old boy with severe internal bleeding. Herrera knows better than to listen to a surgical intern, as she fends off Glasses (Jake Borelli) who yells at her to remove her hand. Instead of doing as told, Herrera asks for a “grown-up.”
The trailer also includes brief footage of Ben Warren (Jason George) in his Station 19 gear.
The Grey’s Anatomy-Station 19 crossover episode airs March 1. Station 19 launches with a two-hour premiere on March 22.
