Gwen Stefani is Back on “The Voice”

Gwen Stefani is making her return to The Voice.

The Voice is officially welcoming back the 49-year-old singer to its upcoming 17th season.

In a new clip, Stefani and boyfriend Blake Shelton made it clear that the fact that they are romantically involved will not get in the way of their spinning chairs.

Stefani is taking over Adam Levine who exited the show after 17 seasons. She also joins Kelly Clarkson and John Legend who serve as coaches on the music talent show.

“I’m so happy to be back. My life changed so much on the show,” she says in the clip. “And then to be with my best friend, Blakey, and to be here with Kelly and John, I feel pretty lucky to be here right now.”

“I always love[d] having Gwen on the show. I mean this is the fourth season, and she literally makes my day 100% better,” Blake said.

“I’m excited to work with Gwen. I literally grew up, like, in my room singing to her,” Clarkson added. “So, I’m, like, a super fan. Like, a real fan. Like, crazy.”

Season 17 of The Voice premieres September 23.
